Nursery Admissions
The academy offers 15 hours per week for all children from age 3 and an additional 15 hours for those eligible for 30 hours funded attendance. The nursery has a maximum of 39 places in the mornings and 39 in the afternoons.
Available sessions are:
- Full time places (30 hours, if eligible): 5 full days per week (Full day = 2 sessions)
- Part time places (15 hours): 5 morning sessions per week or 5 afternoon sessions per week
- Flexi time - a mixture of sessions (AM/PM/Full days) throughout the week which when combined equal a total of 5 sessions per week (if the required places are available)
Admission to the nursery (Foundation Stage 1) is arranged by the academy after completion of our application form, available below or from the academy office. We operate a waiting list and places are allocated on an age basis.
Children are eligible to start in the nursery at the beginning of the term after their third birthday, but this is dependent on the availability of places within the unit. Parents/carers can choose a morning or an afternoon session for their child to attend the nursery and while we cannot always accommodate the choices, we will liaise with parents/carers to offer sessions that are suitable for you.
You will need to bring your child’s birth certificate and proof of address before admission to the academy.

Academy Admissions
The Academy published admissions number (known as the PAN) for each year group, Reception to Year 6 inclusive, is 45. This is the number of spaces available for pupils in each year group.
Children transfer from Foundation Stage 1 (Nursery) to Foundation Stage 2 (Reception) in the September before they turn 5 years old.
Admission into the academy's reception class is by application to North East Lincolnshire Council in January each year for the following September. Allocation is decided by the local authority in April. Parents have the right to appeal if they are unhappy with the decision made by the local authority.
A parent or carer of a primary-age child can request that a school delay or defer their child's entry to reception. Further information on the process for requesting admission outside of the normal age can be found using the following link.
Admission into other year groups is arranged by North East Lincolnshire Council as a transfer from a previous school, this is referred to as an "in-year admission" in the information below.
