Hello everyone and welcome to our website.
As you move through the ‘Thrunscoe Academy journey’ with us, the staff and I believe that your child will be extremely happy and safe with us.
Our website is a 'one stop shop' where key information will be shared with you throughout the year (what children will learn, key dates, letters, statutory information and much more). So don't be a stranger; keep visiting the site to stay up-to-date.
We understand the benefits of a strong partnership with our parents / carers and actively encourage this; it is critical to the success of your child. We pride ourselves on being sympathetic and flexible when dealing with any problem, so please let us know if your child is experiencing any issues within the Academy. We are here to help; please approach us if you require support. The staff and I are available both before and after the academy day if you require a brief chat. It is advisable to make an appointment with either myself, or the class teacher, if you need a longer discussion.
You will be invited into the academy on multiple occasions to share in your child's work, take part in events or support with pupil learning. We do welcome parent / carer helpers and value any time you can spare.
